PDA prides ourselves on being the Retiree Drug Subsidy industry leader and innovator, always on the look out for new ways to assist our clients with any and all RDS needs. The PDA News and Events page is a great resource for Plan Sponsors to keep up on RDS program changes and developments, new products and services PDA has to offer as well as how to meet PDA at upcoming events.
As a participant in the Retiree Drug Subsidy program, plan sponsors are required to retain any data and documentation submitted to with an RDS application for six years in the case of a CMS audit. One of PDA’s customers was selected for such an audit and with our support and assistance, came through with flying colors. By engaging with Part D Advisors in the reopening process, Operating Engineers received more than a million dollars in additional subsidy for their health care plan across just two plan year applications, an increase of 18%! Read about their successful reopenings here.
