Scope of Services

Plan sponsors rely on Part D Advisors to:

• Counsel plan sponsors to maximize federal subsidy opportunities
• Fulfill all creditable coverage notice requirements, including mailing
• Provide full customer service team for inquiries from retirees regarding notices
• Prepare drug subsidy application for filing with the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)
• Handle all creditable/noncreditable coverage reporting with CMS
• Provide actuarial equivalency attestations as required for drug subsidy
• Satisfy ongoing federal cost estimate reporting requirements, including monthly file updates
• Prepare and submit monthly subsidy payment requests to CMS
• Electronically respond to CMS regarding rejected subsidy applications
• Electronically respond to CMS regarding rejected payment applications
• Handle the complex and dangerous Final Reconciliation Process
